Responsibilities

Page USD AIEP, IEC, & IPC work together to support our American Indian Students from all 15 Indigenous Nations represented at Page USD.  Collectively, decisions are made about how to best provide services & use program funds to accomplish our mission, vision, objectives, & goals.  Through this collaboration, we address the needs of our Page USD American Indian students & their families who are our first priority. In the classroom, we integrate culturally relevant teaching practices that utilize American Indian language, culture, history, & government.  We understand that preserving & revitalizing American Indian language, culture, & history is important to the success of our students, families, & communities.  We help plan & integrate curriculum, services, programs, events, & all other activities that involve our students to ensure they are meeting the needs of our American Indian Students. We continue to strengthen the bond between the school and communities by playing an active pivotal role in our school, the community, the Navajo Nation, Arizona State, & National events.
